Up, up, and … uh … tits

So I spent more time on this last night. Pretty happy with it, the bitten lip works, I think, but man that shirt eats. If I wanted to take this any further, I’d definitely take a ref shot for the shirt, but I think that’s about as far as I care to go with this.

Powergurl, kinda

So I did this over lunch. It’s pretty rough and a crap scan on top of that, but I think it’s got promise. I had a funny idea that since Powergirl is supposed to be a Superman analogue, it would be awesome if she did that classic Superman pose where she rips open her dress shirt, but instead of the big red and yellow ‘S’ under there, it’s just a huge pile of tits. powergurl.jpg

Gotta start somewhere …

From a photo of Viggo, 20 minutes or so (not that it matters, really). The verisimilitude is fucking unreal! I’m gonna try to draw for 20 minutes every night. I give it a week! Go rainbow mullet! nfs1.jpg

Woohoo, another attempt with Copics. I’m supposed to be working on Thor right now — in that moneymaking way. But whatever, I wanted to play with the Copics. I suck at texture so far.

Leaving off the foot is my homage to Olivier. :)

T-Rex

I did this one in Photoshop on the Cintiq while waiting for approval on work.

Finally, a sketch

The pressure! It burns! I must sketch something! So I found a photo I took a couple years ago, and drawered it. It’s just for Copic practice. Took me an hour, maybe?

High Technology Traders

I was waiting for my car to be finished at the mechanic (again) and these two old small-town Ukrainian farmer dudes were discussing this hot tech stock they lucked into.

High Tech Traders

Yup… HP… there’s a winning stock if I’ve ever seen one.

1st crappy sketch

Okay, so I’m 2,000 miles away from home but that won’t stop me from participating. I picked up a pencil and a 6″ x 9″ sheet of paper and doodled these heads. Not having a scanner, I snapped a photo with my cell phone, which is why the image is blurry.

Hey, its not an ideal first contribution but at least I made the effort.
